The Department of Human Evolution of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig (Germany) invites applications for two post-doctoral positions. One in Zooarchaeology and one in Physical Anthropology.
In the department, palaeoanthropological research is conducted within a multidisciplinary environment involving three main groups of scientists: biological anthropologists, Palaeolithic archeologists, and archaeological scientists/geochronologists. Research Position in Biological Anthropology: The Research Group on "Plant Foods and Hominin Dietary Ecology" in the
Department of Human Evolution of the Max Planck Institute for
Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig (Germany) invites applications for a
post-doctoral researcher in biological anthropology. The research group
is committed to exploring the relationships between the plant component
of hominin diets and aspects of their biology, behavior, and evolution.

Es ist inzwischen einige Jahre her, dass die „Anthropologen Job- und Kontaktbörse“ ins Leben gerufen wurde. Mit ihr sollte eine Plattform angeboten werden, auf der ein reger Austausch zwischen Studenten und denjenigen stattfinden kann, die eine Stelle nach dem Anthropologiestudium gefunden haben, bzw. einen Job oder einen Praktikumsplatz zu vergeben haben. Die ursprüngliche Konzeption hat sich jedoch nicht in die gewünschte Richtung entwickelt und die Informationsweitergabe über Stellen- oder Praktikumsangebote erfolgt inzwischen zunehmend per Rundmail.
